    Equipped with castor wheels for easy manoeuvrability and constructed from heavy-duty stainless steel, the saladette worktop fridge is designed for busy commercial environments such as cafes, restaurants, pubs, and sandwich shops. With a 30cm deep preparation bench, self-closing doors on the fridge storage space and shelving rails suitable for 1/1 GN and 1/3 GN trays, this unit is designed to keep food products fresh and accessible during the meal-time rush. This unit is built with a Cubigel compressor and an automated defrosting system, complemented by Carel iJF digital controller with LED temperature displays.

    R290 Refrigerant is non-toxic, natural, and free of ozone-depleting properties. R290 is one of the most climate-friendly and cost-effective refrigerants available. Fridges and Freezers using this refrigerant are more efficient and can reduce your overall energy costs by up to 28%.

    The X-series are designed with dual fans, located at the front and side of the unit.  This frees up the rear ventilation space, allowing you to position these models flush against the back wall.  All you are required for ventilation is to provide 150mm at the side and the front clear from obstructions.

    The new iJF controller is by CAREL, with more than thirty years of experience in the refrigeration controller market. Customisation options, aesthetics and functionalities have been considered when commissioning the controller. Its frameless flat design and distinctive appearance blend perfectly into any fridge or freezer appliance.

    Operation

    • CONTROLLA mobile app is available on Android and Apple App Stores

    • The saladette section uses fan‑assisted cooling from underneath the trays. All food must be pre‑refrigerated before placing into the trays. Product temperature retention will vary depending on usage and ambient conditions.
    • Keep all dividers and trays fully populated and all lids closed at all times.

    Installation and Maintenance

    • This unit must be placed, leaving clearance for ventilation.  Please refer to the user manual for details.
    • For optimal performance and longevity, the condenser filter on this unit must be cleaned monthly.
